Unakka Sravu / Dry Shark Chammandhi


Ingredients needed for Unakka Sravu / Dry Shark Chammandhi
1/2 cup dry shark pieces
6 red chillies  / 1 tsp red chilli powder
6 - 8 small onions, chopped
Oil needed
a very small ball of tamarind
Salt to taste

How to prepare Unakka Sravu / Dry Shark Chammandhi ?
Heat oil, fry the shark pieces. Drain, remove and crumble them.
In the remaining oil, saute onions and red chillies, remove and keep aside.
Now add all the ingredients namely, fried dry shark pieces, onions, red chillies,tamarind and salt to taste.
Put them in a mixer and grind to a paste.
Pour a little coconut oil on top of the chammandhi and serve with rice.
